About Polar Bear Pilot
In 1995 I was interested in taking flying lessons, and getting a pilot's license. Unfortunately it ended up being too expensive and I bailed on the idea (get it? bailed?). But I have always loved the idea of flying and at the same time I've always been a little anxious about it too. But shortly after I decided not to pursue my pilot's license I found a flight simulator called X-Plane. It satisfied my urge to fly, without putting myself at risk of death, but I eventually lost interest and stopped flying in X-Plane around 2014. In 2020 I began flying in X-Plane again and this time I decided to start making videos of my landings for myself, so I could improve upon them. Then I realized, "Hey! Why not share these videos?" and so Polar Bear Pilot was born, although you wouldn't see the Polar Bear Pilot logo for a while. Flying is an amazing experience, and I'm glad I can share these simulated experiences with you.
